Commisarations are due to Cllr Gagan Mohindra who finished last in the contest and therefore is not on the final list.
They will have my full support in the upcoming elections. Above I am pictured with Vicky Ford MEP who topped the list, helping campaign in Milton during the recent local elections.
The Conservative MEPs for the East of England have played a key role in bringing about change in the British relationship with the EU. They have worked hard to defend British interests and, in particular those of residents in the Eastern region.
Personally I am very pleased that they are pledged to do all that they can to maintain the sovereign independence, security, and prosperity of the United Kingdom. This includes opposing EU political integration and fully supporting a referendum on our relationship with the EU once renegotiation has been completed.
In addition to pledging to work hard for residents and get the best for farmers and fishermen, businesses, professions, universities and research institutes.
Plus insisting on strong border controls, and strict control of immigration including changes to the ‘free movement of people’ and continue the battle to cut EU costs, bring an end to the ‘Strasbourg circus’, and fight over-regulation, fraud and waste in the EU.
